MUS Membership Details/Information

MUS is a vibrant society comprising of Urologist (practicing/retired/students) around the globe with regular academic and cultural gatherings. To be a part of the society you need to be a member of it.

Membership Types

Full Member

Rights -

• Can take part in elections both as a voter or as an office bearer.
• Can attend AGM and propose his ideas for the betterment of society and its members.

Criteria -

• Should have cleared necessary qualifying examination in Urology and is board certified.
• Should be practicing urology in Mumbai jurisdiction.
• Should have enrolled with MUS with necessary membership fees and form and has renewed the same.

Associate member –

Rights -

• Can take part in academic and Cultural gatherings.
• Can present is work and take active part in various academic sessions conducted by MUS..

Criteria -

• Qualified/Board Certified Urologist not practicing Urology in Mumbai Jurisdiction.
• Qualified/Board Certified Doctor with special interest in Urology.
• Should have enrolled with MUS with necessary membership fees and form and has renewed the same.

PG Member-

Rights -

• Can take part in academic and Cultural gatherings
• Can present is work and take active part in various academic sessions conducted by MUS.

Criteria -

• Should be pursuing recognized PG programme in Mumbai Jurisdiction
• Should have enrolled with MUS with necessary membership fees and form and will be a member till the completion of PG course.
• Once course completed he can apply for Associate/Full member after payment of extra membership fees and form.

Steps to become MUS member.

1) Based on the criteria decide on type of membership (Full/Associate/PG)

3) The membership needs to be renewed every 5 years.

4) Once done the membership will be put up for approval in the subsequent MUS AGM

5) Membership Fees –

• Full Member - Rs 5000 for a period of 5 years. The same has to be renewed every 5 years with an additional payment of Rs 5000 and updated membership form on the link provided
• Associate Member – Rs 3000 for a period of 5 years. The same has to be renewed every 5 years with an additional payment of Rs 3000 and updated membership form on the link provided
• PG Member – Rs 2000 for the period of pursuing PG course. On Completion of course the member ceases to be a PG member however with the additional payment of Rs 1000 or Rs 3000 member can upgrade to Associate or Full member [based on his area of practice].

Cancellation / Refund Policy :

Membership fees paid cannot be cancelled / refunded.
