Dear Members,

Transitioning from a council member to a treasurer post brought numerous responsibilities. My task was cut off. We have achieved a few, and a few are in the pipeline. Firstly, all the financial transactions of MUS are now completely digital. Secondly, MUS is now CSR support compliant. I am sure that this will facilitate MUS to conduct many workshops and academic activities throughout Maharashtra. It will help to achieve our educational objectives for sure. Thirdly, MUS is also 12A and 80G certification compliant for five years. 12A Registration with Income Tax Department is a must; getting the PAN Card is insufficient. 80G Registration with Income Tax Department is after getting the 12A Registration. This Registration is for the benefit of the Donors. This will encourage the donors to make donations.

A society prospers and grows with the induction of more members. Many urologists are trained in Mumbai. We will be launching the MUS-membership drive soon. Kindly enroll to get maximum benefits. The membership can be done via the MUS website, which has been revamped and will be launched soon. The payment of fees would be via a safe platform of ‘RazorPay®.’ We will continue to work on improving the services through this digital mode of communication. We have integrated our bank account for all registration and payment purposes. So all payment processes are simple and safe to use. We also want to update the current Database of our existing members and induct as many new full members as possible to our zone. Many trainee members have qualified recently but are yet to become full members of our zone. We will try to reach out to them and request them to be full members of USI and our zone.
